We will make a small 3/8" deduction to ensure that the shade fits and operates smoothly. It is important to note that the recommended window depth is 1.75", but a 1" depth may work with solid wood frames using one row of bracket holes.

For those opting for an Outside Mount, simply order the size you want the blind to be and then send us a message specifying that it is for an Outside Mount. No deductions will be made, and side returns will be included. It is advisable to make sure that the blind is taller and wider than your window, adding at least 2" above the window for brackets.

If you need a Custom size, the good news is that we do offer that option. You can choose the nearest size available and then message us with your specific measurements. Alternatively, you can use the "Customize Now" feature on our website.

For customers looking for Privacy, we recommend choosing either the Natural Cedar/Forestwood or Rustic Oak/Walnut/Coffee options, as they have thick, tightly woven slats that provide the privacy you need.
