Cordless Blackout Cellular Shades for Privacy and Light Blocking

TYPES OF MOUNTING:

Inside mounted shades require a minimum frame depth of 2.4 inches for secure installation and will have a deduction of approximately 0.4 inches to ensure a proper fit inside the window frame. If your window frame depth is less than 2.4 inches, outside mount is recommended. Outside mounted shades should be ordered with the exact width of the area you wish to cover. They are often used when there is not sufficient frame depth for inside mounting. Our shades come with mounting hardware for both inside and outside mount options.

INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT:

Step 1: Measure the inside frame width at the top, middle, and bottom. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and deduct 0.4 inches for your customized width. Step 2: Measure the height at the left, middle, and right side. Record the smallest measurement for your customized height.

OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT:

Step 1: Measure the outside frame width and add 6-10 inches for the outside mount width. Step 2: Measure the outside frame height and add 6-10 inches for the outside mount height. The overlap is recommended for appropriate coverage and to avoid light gaps.
